October is hands down my favorite month ever. I have always loved the fall since I was young. Living in Colorado, we get to experience all four seasons. I love the brisk autumn air, the changing leaves, the warm drinks. school starting and warmer clothes and accessories. I get so excited once September hits because it’s acceptable to start doing fall things (according to my rules lol). Having a baby in October was the greatest gift to me. I hope my daughter grows up to enjoy this season as much as I do. For her first birthday, we decided to give her her very first pumpkin patch!

We tried to locally source as many things as we could for her treats. Her beautiful cake was made by my friend Nessa (Highlands Bakery- my daughter has an egg allergy so she was able to make her a pumpkin cream cheese frosting cake with no eggs and it was amazing), charcuterie spread by Chzy Board Co, cookies made by my brother in law (so delicious!) and french macarons made by me!

My husband made her this amazing lemonade stand (that she will get to enjoy when she’s older) but repurposed it to be a photo prop for her first birthday photos. We loved how it turned out! All the materials we purchased from Home Depot. He followed this tutorial. It turned out so adorable and I know she will absolutely love it growing up.

Here are some details of the pumpkin patch themed birthday party:
- Pink confetti balloons for the balloon arch
- Milestone photo garland and confetti
- “First pumpkin patch” letter board (I love this letter board, I use it for every event or holiday)
- French macaron tower (I love how this collapses easily for storage)
- The hay bales were purchased at Michaels (They have many sizes there!)
- These cake stands are great to have for any event or celebration.
- For the lemonade stand, the wood and wood stain were both purchased from Home Depot. Here is the tutorial that my husband used. I love it so much and can’t wait to see Luna grow with it.
- The felt pumpkin garland I used as decoration on the lemonade stand was from Home Goods. I love their seasonal items! But if you have no luck finding them there, I found a similar and adorable garland here.
- Target has the best seasonal items in their dollar/value section. I purchased my small decorative pumpkins from there.
- For the pumpkin patch, I purchased pumpkins from Autumn Harvest Pumpkins. We used this same company to order mini pumpkins for our wedding. You can order the pumpkins ahead of time and schedule a delivery time frame. I love their quality and service!
